- Leg tips of Gitzo 6x tripods are very easy to lose when working in the field. Some photographers have chosen to secure theirs with blue removable Loctite® or silicone caulk. While both methods help the feet stay on, neither is supposed to be permanent, thereby allowing removal of the foot later as needed.
