With an integrated double dovetail Arca-Swiss style plate, this replacement foot weighs only 3.5 ounces and can save you up to .75 pounds compared to the original Nikon lens foot paired with a lens plate. You'll appreciate this weight reduction while carrying your lens or packing for travel.
The foot's closer mount also saves space when packing, yet leaves enough room gimbal to use the lens foot as a handle. The closer mount and slight offset also provide an increase in rotational stability and improved balance for ball heads and action heads. Six stop screw positions improve security against drops.
Wrench for foot removal plus wrench and stop screws for the replacement foot are provided.
